Angular cheilitis

A condition commonly caused by infection of the fungus Candida albicans, in which the intersection point between the upper and lower lips (corners of the mouth) are chronically cracked or chapped. Frequently occurs when all or several teeth are lost, and the patient's mouth closes farther than it should.
